At the Book Cafe, Julian stepped inside
and glanced around the room. Seeing Chad at the counter, he approached
him. "Hi, Chad!" He grinned.
"Mr. Crane." He smiled. "What's up?"
"I am looking for Dr. Russell. Have you seen her?" he asked hopefully.
"Actually, she just left," Chad pointed out.
"Did she say where she was going?" Julian asked.
"No, but I think she mentioned something about a patient. Maybe she's over at the hospital. Or maybe she went home," Chad suggested.
Julian leaned over the bar and shook Chad's hand. "Thanks, Chad." He turned and rushed out the door.
